Issued by the Bureau of Immigration (BI), it certifies that you have no pending obligation with the government of the Philippines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/immigration.gov.ph\/images\/FORMS\/FY_2019\/EmigrationClearanceCertificate\/2015-08-001_ECCApplication.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VIEW GENERIC FORM<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>*Submit this form together with ONE of the following (Type A or Type B):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">There are two types of ECCs: ECC-A and ECC-B.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ECC-A and how to get it<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Also known as \u201cregular ECC\u201d, ECC-A is required for the following foreign nationals intending to leave the country:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Holders of Temporary Visitor Visa (i.e. \u201ctourist visa\u201d) who have stayed in the Philippines for six (6) months or more;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holders of expired or downgraded Immigrant or Non-Immigrant Visas;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holders of valid Immigrant or Non-Immigrant Visas but are leaving for good;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Philippine-born foreign nationals who will depart from the Philippines for the first time;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holders of Temporary Visitor Visa with Orders to Leave; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seafarers who have stayed in the Philippines for 30 days or more with a duly approved discharge from BI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get it<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The BI main office and selected BI satellite offices are authorized to issue this document. If visiting a satellite office, it is best to verify if it is included in the list of authorized offices before proceeding. You may find their contact numbers here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secure and fill out an application form. Attach the following supporting documents:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Original Alien Certificate Registration (ACR) I-Card or paper-based ACR (to be surrendered);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photocopy of the passport bio-page and passport page bearing the valid visa implementation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photocopy of the parent\u2019s passport bio-page, visa implementation page, and latest admission with valid authorized stay, if the applicant is below 18 years old;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photocopy of order of downgrading (if applicable);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photocopy of the official receipt(s) of payment for the latest Annual Report and other applicable fees; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Five (5) pieces 2\u00d72 colored photograph with white background taken within the last three months from the date of application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for the issuance of Order of Payment Slip (OPS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay the corresponding fees: PhP 710.00 for minors (below 14) and PhP 1,210.00 for adults. Note, however, that these amounts may change without prior notice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit the accomplished application form, attachments, and original Official Receipts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present the claim stub on the appointed date and time of return for releasing of Original Certification and Receipts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acknowledge receipt by signing the duplicate copy of the Certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications for regular ECCs must be filed <mark style=\"background-color:var(--theme-palette-color-1, #f8e60c)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-palette-color-3-color\">at least three (3) days prior to departure<\/mark>. Regular ECCs, which are valid for one (1) month upon issuance, may only be used once.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/immigration.gov.ph\/images\/FORMS\/FY_2019\/EmigrationClearanceCertificate\/2015-08-001A.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VIEW ECC-A FORM<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ECC-B and how to get it<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ECC-B is issued to those who have immigrant and non-immigrant visas with valid ACR I-Cards and are leaving the country temporarily. Valid for one (1) year, the ECC-B is a single-use receipt that serves as a Special Return Certificate (for Non-Immigrants) or Re-entry Permit (for Immigrants).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get it<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ECC-B may be secured at the BI Main Office or in the airport upon departure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill up the ECC Application form. Note that the form requires you to attach a 2\u00d72 colored photograph with white background taken within the last three (3) months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present your passport and ACR I-Card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay the corresponding fees \u2013 that\u2019s Php2,800 per passenger.
