3 Easy steps to renew your SRRV

Renewing your Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) SRRV visa is straightforward and can be done via the nearest PRA office without a physical visit.

The Philippine Retirement Authority is acutely aware that many foreigners holding SRRV visas may not live very close to their nearest PRA office, therefore a straightforward annual renewal process has been implemented.

Don’t leave it too late!

You can make your annual payment up to 6 months in advance – so no need to leave it until its too late and/or panic about a tight schedule.

SRRV holders are not required to report personally at a PRA office.

One: Communication

On or before your PRA ID card expiration date*, SRRV Holders are expected to coordinate with their nearest PRA office via email or telephone to signify intention to renew/update their PRA ID card.

Two: Payment

The PRA office will check your file and provide you with instructions, including payment details for the annual renewal fee (circa USD360 pa, full rate, non-discounted).

Go to the designated Bank, pay the Fee and take the payment slip to your PRA office (or email it) as proof of payment.

At this stage you have the option to change your PRA ID Card photo should you wish to do so (2 x photo submissions required).

Three: Collection

i. Collect your new PRA ID Card in person when it’s ready (up to 1 month) or,

ii. The PRA office can courier your new PRA ID Card to your home in the Philippines (₱155) or internationally (USD50).
